Nimbus Note for Business

Our business version does not contain the restrictions that apply to the basic version of Nimbus Note: limits on the number of projects, users, etc. Also, traffic limits are higher.

Note: When you create an organization, you can make individual projects separate from your personal ones. However, you can always copy notes from a personal project to a business one.

How to create the first business organization? #

You can go to the page for creating a business organization through the pricing page, or just follow this link – https://teams.nimbusweb.me. Next, you need to go through a few simple steps:

– type in your email (this step will be skipped if you already have a Nimbus Note account)

– provide your company name

Once you are done creating your organization, a 30-day trial period is automatically activated. During this time, you can use Nimbus Note absolutely free of charge. After the trial period is over, you need to pay to continue using a subscription. If something wasn’t to your liking, you can leave it at that and discontinue using Nimbus Note.

After you’ve completed registration, you will be taken to your organization’s business admin area. Let’s go through its points:

If you need a new organization, you can create it by pressing Create new organization.

Members – here you can view current organization members. Assign rights to them, view them, change the roles etc.

You can also add new members.

Workspaces – here you will find a list of your current organization’s projects. You can add participants, rename the project, or delete those that are unnecessary.

If you need to add members to the project, just press Add members. Next, select the members from those already in the organization or send invites to new members.

Billing Information – on this page you will find all data on your trial period (if you have it activated). Here you can also download all the paid invoices.

If I do not pay for the subscription, will my data be deleted? #

Not right away. Your account will be inactive for 30 days, but the data will be kept intact. You will be able to resume using the service any time. If you do not pay for the subscription for 90 days, the account will be deleted along with all the data it contains.

Is it possible to create a new organization if I already have one? #

Yes, this is very simple to do straight from the business admin area. Press Add and enter the name of the organization and its domain.

Important! No trial period will be available for new organizations, so you will need to pay for the subscription for them to be activated right away.

How do I add new members to the organization? #

Press Invite new members and enter the details for your new member and choose desired role:

Manager – they can manage projects and members. This role has the ability to invite members to the organization and add to workspaces.

Member – they can read and edit notes in workspaces.

How can I add members to a workspace? #

If you need to add members to your workspace, just press Add members inside the desired workspace. Next, select the members from those already listed for your organization or send invites to new members.

How to change member rights? #

Click on any member on the list and choose new rights:

Owner – the creator and chief administrator of the organization. They have all rights over projects and billing.
Manager – they manage projects and members. This role can invite new members to the organization.
Workspace Administrator – this role can add and change the project participants’ rights.
Members – they can read and edit notes.

How can I switch organizations from my web client? #

Click on the bottom menu and select organization from the list.

Is it possible to add your own domain to access the web client at nimbus.mydomain.com? #

Yes, and this is very easy to do! In the organization menu, type in the subdomain as subdomain.yourdomain.com and press Save.

To go to a personal organization, you need to go to the https://nimbusweb.me/client web client. Business subdomains only display business projects.
