Michaels Movie Pick Beautiful Boy

Hey guys! One of my favorite things to do is watch movies – and because of how hot and rainy and it’s been down here in South Florida, I have been indulging in this form of entertainment a little more than usual. You might have seen my “workout of the month” in our last issue, and while fitness is a huge part of my life, so is rest and relaxation. I chose the perfect movie to recommend this month – Beautiful Boy. First and foremost, this movie is not going to make you laugh. In fact, it’s a tear-jerker. Beautiful Boy depicts true events in which parents and family of a drug-addicted son try to work through the pain and messiness of the disease of addiction. This movie achieves both perspectives – both the addict’s as well as his afflicted loved ones’. You will not regret taking some time out of your evening to watch this movie, and I’m sure it will hit home for a lot of you as it did for me. Maybe next month this lazy spell will pass, and I will come up with another workout for you guys, but until then, I’ll keep hiding from this Florida heat with help from my good ol’ pals, Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video.
