Suspected Buc-ee’s bandits busted by Houston-area deputies during traffic stop

You can run, but you can’t hide if you mess with the beaver.  That’s the lesson two suspected robbers learned after they allegedly held up a Buc-ee’s location near Houston.

According to case reports, two incidents involving the pair occurred Monday at the Buc-ee’s at 27106 Northwest Freeway. A terroristic threat incident was reported just after 2 a.m., and then an aggravated robbery was reported just before 8 p.m.

According to a Facebook post by Harris Co. Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman, the duo was apprehended during a traffic stop in the 18700 block of Cypresswood Drive on Thursday.

The constable deputy recognized the vehicle as the one that was reportedly used in the aggravated robbery, according to the post.

The deputy saw a pink-colored handgun and a Gucci backpack inside the vehicle that matched the items that were used in the aggravated robbery, according to Herman.

The deputy reportedly identified the man and woman in the vehicle as the suspects from the Buc-ee’s robbery from surveillance video. They were detained and identified as Marvin Castro and Dania Hernandez.
