BELFAST, Maine (WABI) – Neighborhood members in Belfast had the chance to buy domestically on Small Enterprise Saturday.
The United Farmers Market options items from artisans and farmers alike from Maine.
Dozens of distributors gathered on the indoor venue providing issues like flowers, breads, and contemporary produce.
Company and distributors had been required to put on masks contained in the market.
The market has been up and operating for the previous 4 years.
”I believe lots of people really feel safer buying domestically,” says United Farmers Market Supervisor Robert Skillings. “You understand, there’s much less folks touching the product, it’s coming from the farm, to the market, or from their home to the market. So I believe folks really feel extra comfy, and folks like supporting their native companies as effectively throughout this time.”
The market is open year-round, each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..
