How To Do Keyword Research in 5 Minutes

As an SEO digital marketer, I know that keyword research is a critical element for achieving online success. Without the right keywords, businesses may struggle to appear in search engine results pages, which can hinder their ability to attract potential customers and generate revenue.

At BSPE Legal Marketing, our team of skilled SEO digital marketing specialists make it a priority to thoroughly research and select the most relevant and high-performing keywords for our clients. By doing so, we can help them increase their online visibility, drive more traffic to their website, and ultimately boost their bottom line.

In this article, we will discuss how to conduct effective keyword research in just five minutes using various tools, including ChatGPT, Keywords Everywhere, PageOptimizer Pro, and Ahrefs.

The Importance of Keyword Research for SEO

To start, it’s important to understand what entities are and how they play a role in SEO. An entity is a thing, and can be a person, place, or object. For example, a “slip and fall lawyer” is an entity, as is a “car accident” or a “table.” When Google scans a webpage, it looks for entities and associated keywords to understand what the page is about. By including entities and related keywords in your content, you can help Google better understand your page’s topic and improve its chances of ranking higher in search results.

Utilizing Various Tools for Efficient Keyword Research

ChatGPT

The first tool we will use in our keyword research is ChatGPT, a language model trained by OpenAI. Although it’s not advisable to use this tool to generate entire articles, it can be useful in SEO keyword research. We’ll start by logging into ChatGPT and using the prompt “extract all entities associated with our keyword from Wikipedia.” Since we’re focusing on small business keyword research, we’ll use “slip and fall lawyer” as our example keyword.

After running the prompt, we’ll ask ChatGPT to cluster the relevant entities together. This will group all of the topic clusters suitable for one informative article per cluster and provide each cluster in an article outline format for further development. This gives us the topics for four potential articles, and we can choose which one to focus on first. For example, we might choose “causes and consequences of slip and fall accidents.”

Keywords Everywhere

Next, we can use Keywords Everywhere, a browser extension that shows related keywords and their search volume and CPC (cost per click) data. By typing in “definitions of slip and fall accidents,” we can see related keywords like “slip and fall hazard” and “biggest cause of slip and fall accidents.” These keywords can be added as sub-topics in our article outline, helping to optimize our content for related keywords.

PageOptimizer Pro

Another effective tool for keyword research is Page Optimizer Pro. This tool is owned by a company that specializes in SEO and can provide you with all the keywords you need in less than five minutes.

We’ll start by creating a sheet and explaining to the software what we want to rank for. PageOptimizer Pro will then provide us with information about what should be included in our page’s title, meta description, subheadings, and content to help it rank higher in search results. This is a quick and simple way to ensure our content is optimized for the right keywords.

Ahrefs

Another advanced tool we can use is Ahrefs, a keyword research tool that helps us find keywords that are easy to rank for and have a high search volume. By starting with a keyword like “slip and fall hazard,” we can see related long-tail keywords with high search volumes and low competition, like “trip or slip” or “slip a trip lesson.” By researching these keywords further, we can find opportunities to create informative and engaging content that will rank well in search results.

By using the tools mentioned in this article, you can conduct keyword research quickly and efficiently, without relying on expert-level knowledge. With these techniques, you can create high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience and helps you achieve your business goals. However, if you want to take your digital marketing strategy to the next level, consider hiring an experienced SEO digital marketer.
