We have some important updates to share with you about Nimbus Capture (formerly Nimbus Screenshot and Video Recorder). Here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening and how it impacts you.
1. Nimbus Capture is Now Nimble Capture
Nimbus Capture has officially been acquired by a third-party company, and with that, it has rebranded as Nimble Capture. So, if you’re still looking for the extension, it’s now under its new name.

2. FuseBase Offers Nimbus Capture PRO features + Platform
As part of our evolution, we’ve rebranded from Nimbus to FuseBase, a platform designed to take your client engagement to the next level.
If you were using Nimbus Capture Premium along with Nimbus Platform, don’t worry, we’ve made sure you can still access those same powerful features.
You can now download the FuseBase Capture Pro Extension and continue enjoying everything you loved about Nimbus Capture combined with new features coming your way.
3. FuseBase 2025, What to expect?
Many of you may know Nimbus simply as the tool you use to capture screenshots and record videos.
But that was just the beginning! Nimbus Capture was part of a larger, more powerful platform, the Nimbus Platform.
The Nimbus Platform covered provides use cases for knowledge management and client collaboration, with features like client portals and client onboarding.
In 2023, we rebranded Nimbus Platform to FuseBase, and we’re proud to say it was named Product of the Year on Product Hunt, along with several other prestigious awards.
Throughout 2024, our FuseBase team worked closely with our customers and community, listening to your feedback and requests.
