Nimbus Web (we, us, our) gathers and uses data and information to manage and operate Nimbus Screenshot.
These are the types of personal information that we collect:
Email address and password for account creation in Nimbus Note
Email address and Google account profile information, when your Google account is linked to Nimbus Screenshot.
Email address and Facebook account profile information, when your Facebook account is linked to Nimbus Screenshot.
Email address and Dropbox account profile information, when your Dropbox account is linked to Nimbus Screenshot.
Information or data you elect to share with us, such as through email messages, online forms, support requests, social media, or survey responses.
To operate Nimbus Screenshot, we only collect the absolute least amount of information needed.
How Do We Use Your Information?
Providing services for Nimbus and Nimbus Screenshot and ensuring proper functionality;
Managing and running your account;
Answering any of your questions, queries, comments, or complaints;
Investigating potentially unlawful activities on Nimbus Screenshot and Nimbus Note;
Improving Nimbus Screenshot;
Your information is never used for targeted advertisements. Your personal data will not be used to set up a personal file or profile of you except in cases for supporting authorized educational or school purposes, or as authorized by you (or a necessary parent or guardian). We also won’t use your information for any other purposes not listed above without informing you and obtaining your permission first.

Information collected through Nimbus Screenshot is stored in Amazon AWS. This information is hosted in the USA.
Quick upload
If a user uses the Quick Upload mode, then the screenshots are saved in Nimbus Note without using an account.
The user receives a link on the screenshot page that can be shared with other users.
In this mode, screenshots are stored for one year and then deleted.
How does Nimbus Web protect the privacy of children?
Nimbus Web will never knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information about a child under the age of 13, that information will be immediately deleted from our database. Because we do not collect such information, we have no such information to use or to disclose to Third Parties. We have designed this policy in order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
How does Nimbus Web protect my information?
Nimbus Web, and the Third-Party vendors we use to store your information, employ security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. For example, user passwords are stored securely as BCrypt hashes. Credit Card Information is stored by our Third-Party payment processors, Stripe, WalletOne and Recurly, pursuant to PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. Access to the Websites and our API is made through HTTPS protocol and SSL encryption.
Id sessions and user Id are stored in a special storage –
Local storage, which is specially developed for such cases.
In addition to these technical measures, Nimbus takes internal measures, including background checks and security training of those that have access to personal data. We are committed to complying with the student data privacy laws that apply to your use of Nimbus Screenshot and helping our customers comply with FERPA. In the unlikely event that we go out of business, or file for bankruptcy, we will protect your personal information, and will not sell it to any third-party. In the event that Nimbus is sold or merged with another company, we will continue to protect your personal information, and will ensure that transfer of any data is done securely.

Videos Recorded and images captured with Nimbus
All videos and screenshots you create with Nimbus Screenshot belong to you.You have control over where your images and recordings are stored. When you choose to store your files in a third party service, your files will be transferred to the relevant remote service. Please check the privacy policy of your third party service provider to find out how it handles and administers your files.
Publishing to YouTube
With Nimbus Note, you have the option to use our product to directly publish videos to YouTube with Nimbus Screenshot by connecting your YouTube account and channel(s) to our service. This feature is operated using YouTube API Services. When uploading a video to YouTube, you agree to the

Certain user information is accessed and used to run this feature. The information we collect from YouTube (hereby referred to as “YouTube Data”), includes your channel name(s), channel ID, channel thumbnail URL, and uploaded video URL.
We store YouTube Data on the Google Cloud infrastructure. Your YouTube Data is not shared with any other third parties. Internal access to this data is additionally restricted to key employees who manage our technical operations.
How will I find out about changes to the Privacy Policy?
Each time you use the Websites or Products, the then-current version of this Privacy Policy will apply. Although most changes are likely to be minor, we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy by posting such modification on the Websites; however, if changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice or email you.
